We guarantee we will save you a minimum of 10% off any comparable chip timing solution. Rogue Multi-Sport owns all of its timing chips so there is no manufacturer royalty fee passed on to you. This typically results in a savings of $1 to $3 per participant. Rogue Multi-Sport also has no minimum fee. Many timers charge a minimum fee of $3,000 to $4,000 and up per event. Performance Advantages Sport time keeping requires reliable medium range reading of lightweight chips in large numbers along with the ability to read many chips simultaneously such as at the start and finish lines. Our dual frequency RFID technology is ideally suited for this with exceptional anti-collision protocol yielding reads of up to 120 chips simultaneously with a typical read range of 18 inches. Our system can easily handle the congestion at start and finish lines.
Being able to operate independently is essential, so our chip readers are powered by an internal rechargeable battery with back-up external battery and contain a flash drive for storage of chip numbers and times. This data can be uploaded to a computer or remotely accessed if the reader is connected to a network. Our scoring computers also have two sources of battery back-up and we have generator capability for sites without power.
Our chips are passive, meaning they contain no battery as a potential point of failure. The chips are energized by the antennae mats when the participant crosses. Rogue Multi-Sport provides main and back-up antennae lines with independent readers at the critical start and finish timing locations. This is a race proven strategy that provides highly accurate and reliable chip data capture. Our antennae mats are very lightweight yet extremely durable. They are about 1/3 the weight of the lightest mats offered by other RFID systems and can be rolled up in a nylon bag. This means they are easier and quicker to transport, set-up and remove giving us more flexibility at your event. Rogue Multi-Sport uses Race Directorฎ software. Weve been using it for years with excellent results every time. It is flexible, quickly tailors to any race and the announcer interface is simple and seamless.
